"Far East to Far West Inspiration: Eastern Interpretation. Western: with the wonderful fresh stamp of California talent."
The above test is from a 1956 ad for this amazing dress from American designer Pat Premo. Silky rayon woven fabric...it almost feels like Egyptian cotton. The textile is slightly textured with horizontal stripes, which Premo felt were more flattering to a woman’s body, in varying shades of burgundy, green and black. Simple but sexy dress has spaghetti straps and softly gathered high scoop neckline with key hole accent. Smashing for early fall with a shrug. Not lined. Black side metal zipper. Jacket is cropped, button front with decorative button on back and is fully lined.
Condition: No flaws on dress. Fabric is soft and strong. Clean and ready for you to wear. The jacket is being included BUT it has a ½ hole on the shoulder that has been repaired. The cost is for the dress, jacket is free.
It is always best to measure an item that fits you well and compare. I measure from side to side and then double for bust, waist and hips (7 inches down from waistline). Bodice length and total length are from top of shoulder down. Please email me if you have any questions.
